Carol Crutchlow has been a student and practitioner of Buddhism since 1970. She was a student of Chogyam Trungpa, Rinpoche, and now studies with Sakyong Mipham, Rinpoche.  In addition to directing Shambhala Training, she teaches regularly at Boulder Shambhala Meditation Center and volunteers as a meditation instructor and teacher with the Shambhala Prison Community.  Carol taught Theatre at The Naropa University for 12 years, and was part of many productions there and elsewhere.  Her most recent production was an original one person show, “Carol Crutchlow Beside Herself,” performed both at Naropa and at The Dairy Center For The Arts.
