Join us for an elegant Thanksgiving dinner and family-oriented holiday retreat this November. Enjoy a wide variety of weekend activities including workshops on the contemplative arts, like haiku and ikebana (Japanese flower arranging), yoga, sensory awareness, and additional guided mindfulness practices. There will also be opportunities to relax in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, as well as fun and enriching activities for children.

Give thanks and celebrate our connection to the phenomenal world and each other in the powerful setting of Shambhala Mountain Center.

There is no cost for children under 6. Please list their names and ages in the “children” field when registering.

For children 6 – 17 years old, tuition is $40 per child. Please fill out an individual registration form for each child (6-17), select pay-by-check, and call the Call Center (888-788-7221 or, locally, 303-468-9640) to adjust your payment and pay by phone.

Program Details

Registration takes place from 2– 5 pm on your program start date. All participants and volunteer staff must check in at our Guest Registration house. Please arrive before 5 pm to check-in and settle into your accommodations. Your program begins with dinner, followed by an orientation. The Guest Registration house closes at 5 pm after which no one is available to provide information or orient you to your accommodations. All programs usually end at 12:30 pm on the program's departure date, followed by lunch. Further specifics regarding your program's schedule will be available upon arrival. If applicable, you will receive an email from the program coordinator in the week prior to your program with any additional information you may need.
