Bob King became a student of Trungpa Rinpoche in 1970 and at that same time began a successful career as a building contractor. As a volunteer, he served as project manager for the construction of The Great Stupa of Dharmakya for 14 years. Since then, he has organized annual work programs in order to maintain and enhance the Stupa and its environment a well as to provide opportunities for others to connect and deepen their relationship to this sacred expression of awakened mind.
