Shastri Alice Haspray began practicing meditation in 1967 with the renowned Zen teacher Shunryu Suzuki Roshi. Following his death in 1971, she continued her path with Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche and now studies with his son, Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. Alice has been teaching Buddhist meditation and Shambhala Training worldwide for 40 years, including five previous Warrior Assemblies. In 2010, she was appointed as the Shambhala Shastri for Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. Alice is also a freelance writer, editor and teacher of English as a foreign language.
