For all qualified Vajrayogini practitioners! Both first-timers and repeaters are warmly encouraged to attend this powerful program. The retreat will be held in our spacious Red Feather Lodge which was recently renovated specifically for fire puja practice. Please join us in celebrating the Feminine Principle.

For first time Amending Fire Puja participants, tuition includes an additional materials fee of $24.

Repeaters are welcome to attend all or some of the Fire Puja. If you are planning on participating in just a portion of the retreat, please plan on attending for at least 2 full days. If you would like to participate in the final feast and closing of the mandala, please plan on attending 2 full days of the puja prior to the final day (a minimum of 3 full days).

Prerequisite: Completion of Vajrayogini sadhana practice requirement.

 

 

Lindy King

Lindy King has been a student of Trungpa Rinpoche since 1970. She has lead fire pujas, study abroad programs, and workshops on death and dying. She helped manage the building of The Great Stupa of Dharmakaya during the 14 year construction period, coordinating the hundreds of volunteers, teacher visits, and other special events, along with enjoying general participation in construction and artwork. Lindy also continues to coordinate the annual work programs, for the benefit of the stupa and those who make a connection with it.

 

Marybeth Keigher

Marybeth Keigher, a student of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche since 1970, received Vajrayogini abhisheka in 1979. She is currently a student of Sakyong Mipham. Marybeth has led numerous Vajrayogini Amending the Mantra and Four Karmas Fire Pujas at Shambhala Mountain Center. She is an acupuncturist and sound healing practitioner and is also a singer who enjoys setting mantras and texts to melody.

Program Details

Registration takes place from 2– 5 pm on your program start date. All participants and volunteer staff must check in at our Guest Registration house. Please arrive before 5 pm to check-in and settle into your accommodations. Your program begins with dinner, followed by an orientation. The Guest Registration house closes at 5 pm after which no one is available to provide information or orient you to your accommodations. All programs usually end at 12:30 pm on the program's departure date, followed by lunch. Further specifics regarding your program's schedule will be available upon arrival. If applicable, you will receive an email from the program coordinator in the week prior to your program with any additional information you may need.
