Waking up to the Wild: Nature Walks
Kay Peterson
September 12–14, 2014
When we wander into untamed landscapes it calms our nerves, strengthens our focus, and restores our sense of well-being. By tuning into our senses and mindfully moving through nature, we can appreciate its chaotic orderliness and our interconnectedness within this complex web of life. Join us for a rejuvenating weekend of gentle walking meditation in the fresh air and sunshine, and a celebration of the Harvest Moon surrounded by good company. This retreat is well-suited for those who are looking for short walks on easy terrain at the lower elevations of Shambhala Mountain Center (around 8,000′). Wake up to the wild both inside and out!
